I've always loved digging into using tools and maximizing the value they can bring. My day jobs have often relied on Excel and I had the chance to relentless improve my skills, which translated to finishing 11th in the 2023 in the Excel World Championship. I've since made a guide to merge how I use Excel (including my macros) and real estate finance. Further development of this guide is currently on hold as I'm not actively using excel these days; however, if there's interest, I can pick it back up.
I often get calls from students seeking to understand the different paths within hotel real estate. The below linked guide is a helpful starting place, a work in progress, and best narrated in a live discussion. At some point, I'll come back and make it more stand alone.
